This web site has been started to tell people about our battle with cancer, our discovery and Alan’s subsequent treatment by the Cyberknife Radiosurgery System.
We are not able to offer medical advice or give treatment recommendations. We are not in the medical position to advise you the Cyberknife IS the correct treatment for your cancer. You must firstly take advice from your Consultant/Oncologist, whether Cyberknife is the most appropriate treatment for your condition. Although Cyberknife is a significant advancement in the treatment of some cancers, it is not suitable for all types of cancer. Our aim is to raise the awareness of Cyberknife within the United Kingdom and to tell people about our journey which led us to taking this path into discovering Cyberknife. We hope that this web site will enable others who are faced with the news that their cancer is terminal, that through Cyberknife they may have the opportunity of ‘a second chance’ and recover from this dreadful disease.
We hope by telling others of our ‘Cyberknife journey’ it will enable others who decide to pursue this form of cancer treatment to have a smooth and easy ride at what is a very anxious and stressful time.
