The Birth of The Stan Bowley Cyberknife Trust
Both Alan and I have been astounded by the help, support and financial assistance we have received during Alan’s illness and subsequent Cyberknife treatment from not only family, friends and colleagues but also from members of the public that we don’t even know. We know that we couldn’t have got through the last eighteen months without this.
The aim of The Stan Bowley Cyberknife Trust is to raise the awareness of Cyberknife Radiosurgery within the United Kingdom. We hope to do this by maintaining the ongoing provision of our website, www.cyberknifeinfo.co.uk and by promoting it though the media.
The long term aim of The Stan Bowley Cyberknife Trust is to raise enough money to purchase a Cyberknife system so that one can be installed in the northwest of England.
The Cyberknife system costs in excess of £2million pounds and that’s just for the machine! The cost of opening a Cyberknife clinic would potentially run into many millions of pounds but just the purchasing of a Cyberknife system would be a huge starting block in providing UK citizens with essential cancer services in the northwest of England.
Help us to fundraise
Raising £2million pounds is a huge target. The Trust is optimistic that we can eventually raise this but we can’t do it alone.
Can you help us?
If you can help us to fundraise, it would be very much appreciated; not only by the Trust members but by many cancer sufferers whose lives could be dramatically changed for the better from having the opportunity to have Cyberknife treatment.
If you are willing to fundraise on our behalf or you are able to make a donation, however small or large, we would love to hear from you. Please contact us through our ‘contact page’.
Your help is needed!!
